Summary
A tough week for the Blue Jays. Coming off a strong second week, this week saw tough opponents: the Yankees and starting a road trip in San Diego against the Padres.
The Jays won the series against the Yankees but dropped game 3 in what was a tight contest. Unfortunately that translated to a series sweep for the Padres and 4 losses in a row.
The Jays hold onto 3rd place in the AL East though, as the 4 teams trailing the Yankees are treading water (except Baltimore, who are sinking).
Bichette has been on a terrible cold streak and was out of the lineup for some games. He showed signs of heating up and hit his 2nd home run in the final game vs the Padres but he's still having a rough go.

- Game 18: standout pitching performance from Chris Bassitt: IP 6.0, H 2, SO 4, BB 0, ER 0
